Talking about Autumn – Learning About the Seasons 🍁

This week, we started exploring the seasons, beginning with autumn! The children learned about the weather changes, the colorful leaves, and how they fall from the trees. We also talked about the English word “Fall” and how it’s connected to the leaves that fall to the ground a fun and memorable little play on words! 

During our discussions, we talked about the autumn weather, like rain and wind. Also, the children shared what we need for autumn weather — umbrellas and boots. 

To make learning even more exciting, we played a counting game. We counted leaves from a tree. Through this playful activity, they practiced early math, language, and observation skills while having lots of fun
